North Dakota Easter

A lot has been happening here at the Steele house!
Eric found out he passed his boards a few weeks ago and a giant weight was lifted from his shoulders. We were so excited to get that news. It was a long few weeks waiting to hear. Now it should be smooth sailing until graduation on May 14th...only about a month!

Along with graduation comes moving back to Grand Forks. We are excited, but we are going to miss it here more than we thought we would. After Eric got his boards news, we really started the house hunting. We had been looking online quite a bit, but it is always so different in person. We met up with a realtor and looked at a lot of houses over 2 days while we were home for Easter. We saw some we liked, some we hated and ONE we loved! We both loved it right from walking in. We loved the open floor plan, the fact that it is move in ready, and there are very few changes we would like to make down the road. It has enough space for us for now and if our family grows :-) Eric loved the huge basement family room and I loved the upstairs living room with beautiful brick fireplace...okay I could talk about the house for hours. That must mean that it's the one. ; )

We put in an offer late Friday afternoon and they accepted Friday evening. If EVERYTHING goes as planned (and hoped) we will be homeowners in late June! We love it and we really hope that everything works out with it. I would love to post pictures, but I don't want to jinx it at all! It is in the south end of Grand Forks, really close to where Eric used to live (only a block away).
I will post pictures when everything is final, but you may have to wait until june for that! Pray that it all works out for us, we have a few houses as back ups but we LOVE this one!

We spent a few days at my parent's house and then Easter weekend at Eric's parent's. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Mackenzie and Lily getting ready to go on a wagon ride. We got to spend an evening with friends and it's always fun to have Mack and Lily play together. Mackenzie was a grumpess until she got to go outside.

Macky in her leopard print outfit and Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house, such a big girl in her chair!

Our Steele Trio on Easter morning

After the Easter egg hunt. We tricked Jenny and Marcus and had 3 eggs filled with $20 bills in our pockets. We added them to our baskets after the actual hunt started. Eric, Scott and I all had a $20 egg plus whatever other eggs we found. Jenny ended up with $2-something and Marcus had around $8. Jenny was telling Marcus to check his eggs faster, it was so funny!
another side note...the ONLY egg Eric found was the one he had in his pocket!

My new favorite picture of Mackenzie
To live life through the eyes of a child...in this case closed eyes. She looks like she is having so much fun. precious! :-)

Happy Easter everyone. I hope you had a blessed day and that you are having a wonderful spring. It's so warm here and we already have green grass! Oh yeah...Happy Twins Season Opener today too!
