We went to Fargo with Eric's family on Christmas Eve and then headed back to Grand Forks on Christmas Day to celebrate with my family. Mackenzie was spoiled like crazy this year. Her big gifts this year were a kitchen set and a basketball hoop. She was asking Santa for a football, but sadly he didn't bring her one. She did like the basketball though.
It was nice to have a low key Christmas being so close to the due date. We had the okay from my doctor to travel, but he did say that Fargo was about as far as he wanted me to go. (they have better hospitals there anyway!)
We had a fun friend holiday party at our house on Sunday. It wasn't a huge get-together, but we had a great time with the friends who could make it. Josh and Molly were here from Iowa and Brittany and Ben made it from Missouri. It's hard to believe that we are so "grown-up" that we have to wait for holidays to meet up with all of our friends. It was nice to see everyone and now we are in the final countdown to baby boy Steele.

I was fooled, which was ridiculous!

Eating the gingerbread house that Uncle Nate made.
Her new kitchen from Grandma and Grandpa Thompson.
Grandma and Grandpa Steele gave her a toaster and a stand mixer to go with it!
I will take any name suggestions/guesses and date/time/weight guesses for Baby Boy! It's always fun to play these types of games and see how it all turns out!
Have a great week and a very Happy New Year!
