Mid-Winter getaway

The Steele family had a quick getaway to the Minneapolis area last weekend. Eric had a continuing education class, so the kids and I enjoyed a day of fun.

We left GF on Thursday afternoon and made it to the hotel at a decent time. The kids still stayed up pretty late, happy they were out of the van.

 We met my friend Danielle and her little one Keira at Lookout Ridge in Woodbury on Friday morning.  Mackenzie LOVED this place. You can't really tell but that's her peeking out the side about 2 levels from the top. (just her little face). 

She was so brave and determined. She did get frustrated that she couldn't figure out how to get to the tallest slide. Danielle even tried to get her up there, but they couldn't figure out the way. Macky is still talking about it at home this week. 

 Luckily Nolan was pretty easy to contain. He loves climbing and had a great time, too.

 my 3 favorites!! Eric kept them both under control, so I could enjoy watching from the sidelines. My pregnancy swimsuit is not my favorite outfit! :-)

 The Eggerts came to visit us and both of my kiddos enjoyed holding little Zachary. Hopefully they'll feel the same way once baby brother comes. 

This was probably my last get-out-of-town event before the baby comes. Eric has another continuing ed weekend in St. Paul in late April, but I might pass on that one. 

We are also anxiously waiting to meet our 1st niece Grace Ellen Kruger. Eric's sister is due on March 15th. A trip to Fargo will definitely be on the agenda! Eric and I are very excited to be an aunt and uncle! The kids have been praying for baby Grace every night. :-)
