GiRlS' WeEkEnD!!!

Annual girls' weekend took place in Grand Forks this year because Molly and I both had little ones that we wanted to have closer to us. We also had other people that could help out with the little ones. Next year we are thinking of Missouri since our friend Brittany will have the newest little one (due in November).

We have a group of 5 girls that get together once a year. Lindsey comes from Wheatland, California; Laura from Omaha, Nebraska; Molly from North Liberty, Iowa; Brittany from Ozark, Missouri and me in good ol' Grand Forks

We noticed this year that we are getting a little older because we were a bit tired before midnight each night.

The first day we met up at my house exchanged some gifts and then headed out for dinner and Harry Potter 7 part 2! We were really having a good time by the time the movie started. Mike's Pizza was serving 3 dollar teas and they were really delicious, especially when you haven't had much to drink in the past 2 years!

Molly made us matching shirts and we actually wore them out, much to Lindsey's dismay! she was mortified! We laughed so hard and the fact that she didn't want to made us all want to even more. Molly didn't put a year on the shirts so we get to wear them every year! YAY LINDSEY!

Heading to dinner. the backs of our shirts have our last initial on them. the first girls weekend we spelled out DESK with our initials. Then we met Lindsey and it became ASKED then Brittany and Lindsey got married and now we spell desk incorrectly DESSC. If you can come up with a better word with those letters, please, let us know!

The next morning we had a surprise baby shower for Brittany. She won't be back to the area until after the baby is born, so we had to pamper her a bit. We had some of her friends and family show up. I think she kind of knew something was up, but she didn't know the people that were coming, so that was fun.

Laura made us these cute signs. They are all done in our wedding colors. Super cute! I haven't found the perfect spot for mine yet. Molly also gave us a fun purse and I also gave everyone a small clutch Coach purse that I bought at 70% off at a sale in January. I waited so long to give them to the girls!

until next year ladies, it was a lot of fun with hilarious stories and a TON of laughs, especially about Lindsey's new special house guest Joe.
