Family Time

During July and part of August we were lucky to have some family visit from around the world. My Grandma Norgaard (mom's mom) came from Rochester to visit for a few weeks. My Aunt Pat from North Carolina brought her to ND. Then my Aunt Lisa came from Halat, Lebanon. She comes almost every year, and we are always happy to have her! Here are a few pictures from their visit

Mackenzie and Great Grandma Bea eating peas together. Grandma would open them up and Macky would eat them up. It was so fun to watch them together. Mackenzie kept asking Grandma if she wanted to play in the sand box with her. Grandma said she was too big.

Grandma and all her girls. They have 4 girls and 6 boys in the family.

Nolan enjoying the lake on a somewhat warm day.
He loves all types of water; sprinklers, splash parks, pools, lakes, bathtubs...

These are just a few pictures of our mini hail storm we had last Thursday. I was putting some bags in the trunk of the car in the garage while it was raining and hail started bouncing at my feet into the garage. It wasn't super bad, just pea, dime and nickel size hail. We hadn't seen hail in a while, so we took a few pictures. We live about 3 miles from my parents house. We got almost an inch of rain in about 20 minutes and their sidewalk wasn't even wet. Crazy!

in other news, we have an almost crawling 7 month old. He is scooting everywhere and gets up on his hands and knees all day. Yikes, time to baby proof a little more. I am heading back to work next week : ( We really had a great summer and I am looking forward to some fun holidays at home with my family of 4. We'll have Nolan's first halloween, thanksgiving, Christmas and his birthday. It will be another busy school year.
