JULY
4th of July in Hatton, this was at the fire station. They had lots of fun activities for kids this year in Hatton. The only bummer was the rainy parade, followed by high 90's in the afternoon.
Eric and I's first child-less getaway---Milwaukee. This was taken at Miller Park with some of our family members (Back: Chris, Rachael, Ben, Kenley, Jessica, Ellie (hiding), Emily Front: Eric and me)
Whoop Whoop!! We went to both shows, Friday and Saturday night. Saturday the 7th was our 6th Anniversary, perfect. DMB even played You and Me...the perfect anniversary song. Both shows were AMAZING, I'm already waiting for the announcement of next summer's shows.
Eric and I sat in reserved seating the night of our anniversary, it was sooooooo much better than lawn. I may never go back to lawn seating.
We celebrated our 10 year class reunion. This was at the end of the night with a small gathering of classmates. What a fun weekend!

My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Roland made it to ND from Lebanon this summer. I hadn't seen Roland in probably more than 10 years. Eric had never met him. It was so wonderful to have them here. Lisa tries to make it back for about a month every summer. We love our time with her every year. :-)

We had 10 adults and 14 children at their house for 2 nights. We had SO much fun. We haven't all been together since the guys graduated in May of 2010.

AUGUST
Minneapolis trip for my cousin Ryan's wedding.
Our old stomping grounds in St. Anthony. We found a couple feeding an unbelievable amount of ducks and geese amid many signs that said do not feed the waterfowl.
The kids loved it and joined right in.
Como Zoo and Conservatory
Nolan's first Twins game, Mackenzie's first game at Target Field. They had a great time and loved that Mickey was right behind our seats.
Our summers always go too quickly, but we had a lot of fun this summer. We are happy to be back into our routine, but are also excited for the long Labor Day weekend, so we can spend some time together at home. Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!
When were you at lake lida? You didn't even stop to visit!! So sad that summer is over. Have a great school year!

ReplyDeleteWe didn't even realize it until after we left that it was the same lake. We'll have to try to visit you there next summer. We loved the area!
