fun with friends!

Mackenzie had a friend from daycare over this weekend. She was so excited for it, and I wish I would've taken a picture of her sitting in front of the door waiting for Halley to show up. It was so funny. She would bring books and stuffed animals to her spot to keep her company.

Nolan was shocked when he woke up and Halley was there. It took him a few minutes to realize what was going on and he eventually warmed up to having her there. We enjoyed some time outside, decorated valentine cookies, played dress-up and had hot chocolate. I think it was a success. Mackenzie cried when Halley left, and she has been asking for her to come over again.

 We have to get poor Nolan some different boy dress up clothes. He loved it, and the girls kept calling him the handsome prince.

 They worked so hard together. It was finally a warm enough day to get outside.
