HaLLoWeEn!!!

We had a very fun Halloween week. We kept very busy and Mackenzie got a lot of use out of her costume.
On Tuesday we had the Black Cat Bash at the community center. She was a little hesitant because it was so dark in the center, but she enjoyed it. She loved the ball pit and getting tattoos on her hands. She is still talking about the tattoos and they rubbed off 2 days after she got them.

Mackenzie's attempt at taping the face to the mummy. It was so funny to watch her do this, she was so proud of herself!

Yikes! A little too excited to get a tattoo.

Our sweet little Cheer Bear! What a honey!

On Wednesday we went to our church's halloween party put on by the older kids. We didn't have her in her costume, but she got to wear her black cat shirt and boo pants. We wore that outfit probably 10 times this month. It was always being washed.

On Thursday we went to my school's halloween party. It was packed and a little crazy. Macky got to play a lot of games and got some balloon animals. She was very tired and we called it a night by about 7pm.

Friday night was date night for Eric and I and I could not have asked for a better date.....SIOUX HOCKEY GAME!!!
It was a great game. The Sioux won and they were celebrating Ed Belfour. He has always been one of my favorite NHL players, so it was really fun to see him.

Saturday we had the Sioux football game. Mackenzie always comes with us and she did a great job this week. It was not busy at the game at all, so she got almost the whole row to herself. That helped a lot. After the game we had Grandma and Grandpa Steele and Jenny and Marcus over to carve pumpkins.

Digging right in to find pumpkin guts

She did stick some in her mouth to taste it. Gross.

Finally Sunday was Halloween.
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's house and their neighbors had a huge pumpkin they had carved. We went around our neighborhood and Macky really liked it. We did go to another dentist's house and he gave her toothpaste. She threw it on the ground and was not very happy about it. What a stink-pot. We thought it was pretty funny. Hope you all had a great halloween. We were busy and we are looking forward to some quiet weeks before Thanksgiving. :-)
